There's also a difference between not believing everything the media says and realizing that just believing that every single thing they say is a lie or mistruth is a little extreme. If you totally believe that the media doesn't tell the truth ever you might never actually come across a time it does because you don't give it a chance.
I'm not saying that I just watch TV for news. If I find, watch, hear or see a story that interest me I'll research it and look into. But all this media hate just ends up making you what you think the media is trying to turn you into.
It's like this friend I have whose a republican and he believes his side so much that he won't ever play Devil's advocate and see why the other side believes what they believe. I'm sure Havoc and Hunter and others aren't like this but it does come across like this at times. Like whenever anyone says the word media you're so entrenched on your side you don't try to see if the media has changed in your eyes because you still believe they are totally wrong. Like a person who sticks his fingers in his ears and goes LALALALALA. When someone tries to give their side of a debate.
